Common Objective: A Match Made in Sustainable Heaven

I received the Ethical Fashion Forum’s latest project, delicately gifted as an embedded email that allowed me to partake (as CO founding partners) on their journey towards a successful fashion industry benefiting the people and the environment. This journey began with an introductory greeting (in the form of a visually appealing, minimal-esque survey and profile builder) as a means of getting to know who I was, what I do, and what my interests and needs were in regards to how I wanted to do fashion better. From then, myself--and my fellow Dhana Team--were invited to be some of the first to engage with their beta website, create Dhana's founding partner page and begin the matching process with other businesses, individuals and organizations that are committed to practices bettering the fashion world.

Once I was in, my dashboard was full of personalized content based on the information I provided when creating my profile. I was now connected with other business, individual and organization profiles that could grant insight and inspiration on how to operate Dhana as a business for good. Additionally, CO highlights varying sustainability issues and offers tools and information on the ways in which we, the other businesses within the community, can provide solutions on ethical sourcing practices, becoming more transparent, cleaning up supply chains,  and making the best choices aimed at empowering the people and planet.

In order to ensure those that are leading in this movement are capable of sharing their intelligence, business profiles are weighted based on ethical, sustainable and product/service quality standards. The higher a business operates, the more it can increase business search rankings and boost business profiles. Ultimately, if you do good by the people, planet and your customers, the CO does good by you.

So, if you care to “take sustainable fashion from nice to norm” and value: business for good, collaboration, leadership, sustainability-focused and integrity and you believe that “when fashion business is done well, it’s good for everyone” then we want to match with you!
