Fashion Revolution Week Day 1: Here's What We Would Say

It’s Fashion Revolution Week which means individuals are connecting online and in-person to advocate for a fashion industry that prioritizes the rights of all persons involved in the supply chain and reducing the environmental impact on the planet. By using #WhoMadeMyClothes and tagging brands to respond, consumers are taking their power back to create more transparency for the industry.

If this sounds like a movement for you, here’s an example of how we (Dhana) would respond.

You May Ask Us:

Who are the people I give thanks for my clothes?

And We Would Say:

Email us, message us, or even call us and we would be more than happy to talk to you about our partnership with Fairtrade America as well as our fair trade certified garment facility Mandala Apparels. Based in India where the men and women behind each cut, stitch, and adjustment of our garments are treated the same as our employees at our office in Sausalito, California. Meaning fair living wages, safe and healthy working conditions and worker benefits like paid time off and recognition for the contribution to the process, brand, values and culture.

Don't be afraid to reach out and ask brands #WhoMadeMyClothes during this year's #FashionRevolutionWeek.
